I've never understood why any gal (or guy) would want to swallow in the first place.
It's a belief among certain New Guinea horticulturalist tribes that in order to develop semen, it must be ingested. S'true.

A couple years before puberty, apparently. It's their belief that the development of masculine features is a direct result of the jizz guzzling.

I bet the missionaries started that shit.

I think I remember a large McDonald's in Florida called "Mickey D's" that had pizza and an arcade and all sorts of crap. There's an Arbies in Virginia with a real hot meat counter and a sort of market type thing too. I should make a fast food website devoted to obscure facts.

I remember Burger King had a pizza promotion a while back, but I don't remember McDonald's ever doing such a thing...

Am I the only one who finds it a bit unnerving that you can get buffalo wings from pizza places but not from fried chicken places?

It was a Canadian-only thing, though I have no idea why. There may have been a couple American McDonalds' that had it, but every one in Canada had McPizzas for about two years. They even wrote the z's in "pizza" with little sideways golden arches. The gimmick to make you want to buy your pizza there instead of at, say, Pizza hut, was that it could be made in under five minutes. Or your money back!

By it tasting like the rest of McD's food. But if I remember correctly, the McD's pizza I had actually wasn't that bad.

It was pretty good! The thing was pretty much sopping wet with grease. I mean, we all joke about all McDonalds food being greasy but I'm talking REALLY greasy here. The crust was practically a liquid. I think the pizza it self was translucent.

I don't know why I didn't realize this this earlier, but maybe they will because of the whole "find the silver game" thing. Maybe they finally got some sense and instead of making the bags opaque, they'll put them in boxes so you can't see what's in the box, but it'll make it easier on collectors to know which game they got. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Special thanks to Nik from the Moogle Cavern for pointing this out. This comes from a CNN article.
The fast-food giant said Thursday that each Happy Meal purchased between Dec. 3 and Dec. 27 will come with a handheld gaming device -- based on one of Sega's video characters.

The promotion is the second time that McDonald's has cooperated with video game maker Sega. The two teamed up with a similar promotion in the spring of 2003. "That promotion was extremely popular," said Jonni Hegenderfer, a spokeswoman for McDonald's.

McDonald's also is trying to sweeten the deal.

McDonald's said that 2,500 lucky children will find a silver-colored handheld device in their Happy Meal bag. Twenty-five of those will be given $2,500 to purchase a video gaming system of their choice. The other 2,475 who received a silver-colored device will win a Sega video game -- either Sonic Heroes or Sonic Mega Collection Plus.
And here is the picture of the American LCD games.

Note the difference in design between the American and the Asian ones Spazz posted a while ago.

Interesting that not only the design differs from the Asian versions but the characters' games are different also. The only characters whose game mode doesn't change are Sonic's and Cream's. Big and for some reason Billy Hatcher gets a game of their own also.

Eh, screw it. I just bought the set on eBay. It beats spending $25+ buying meals and getting a random toy more than once.

Sadly, I've discovered that they don't come in boxes. Craptacular.

Obviously the solution is to develop an X-Ray vision device and stealth suit, then sneak into every McDonalds and search through the bins of toys.

During the last promotion I just bought the toys themselves. It's not like it's difficult or anything.

I tried that, but it costs more if the McD's you go to makes you buy something with it, and then you may not even get one you need.

And besides, that requires effort.
