In England, you can drink anywhere except public places, e.g. the street, at 18. At 16 you can have one unit of alcohol (one glass of wine or one can of beer) with a meal at a restaurant or pub. You can drink in your own home or someone else's home at the age of 3 and upwards. I first got drunk when I was 14 and I figure I've done it so much I'll probably get bored of it by next year.
