Bad Website Alert!

Post by CE »

I was going through my website logs (you know, just passing the time), and I find that a significant amount of my refers were from the site http://www.sonicd.com. I look at the webpage and find a site so bad, it had to get most of its content by linking to my old website.

Are the people who make crappy fan sites getting too lazy to even create their own crappy content?

I have to admit it's not the best website ever made, but I don't mind him or her if he lacks any html skills like I do (I still try to make my website look somewhat decent), but his shouting caps have got to go. Makes me wonder if he was angry while he typed all this.

Looks like something the Portal of Evil would link to in one of those desperate spasms of 'we need more funny sites - the kids love the shitty fanpages'!

That said, nothing that bad. I've seen a DBZ site about twenty times worse.

To be honest I can't tell if that's a parody or not because sprite comics in general are at about that level of quality.

I think they're parodies. IIRC, I saw the first one on How Not To Run A Comic, which is designed as a parody site, so there.

There are decent sprite comics out there, and I'm not just talking about 8-Bit Theatre. A recent one I spotted is Two Evil Scientists (http://twoevilscientists.keenspace.com/), which is pretty good (certainly much better than the one above).

To check the rest, change the last number, all the way up to 8.

It was a parody site, making fun of all the pre-teens/n00bs who think they're all 1337 because they run a crappy sprite comic.
