Sorry for the unoriginal title, but I was wondering if any of you guys have played Advance Wars on the GBA. I've had it for quite a while although I finally managed to complete campaign mode while on a short holiday (which is the only time I actually ever play my GBA). It's quite enjoyable, even if you don't like strategy games, featuring nice graphics, good gameplay and there's plenty to do to keep you busy on those long trips (sounds like I'm selling it, doesn't it)? Well, I was wondering what you guys think of it, if you don't have it then you should really think about getting it because it's one of the few good non-remake games on the portable SNES. So what do you guys think of it? (Awaits some form of criticism).
End transmission

Me = Advance Wars nut. Particularly AW2. Fear the sheer insanity of a Sensei B-Copter spam! (You can get it to work, honest. You just need a fairly dumb opponent who won't build a silly number of AAs to thwart your plans. It really does the AI in...).
Also I feel the MIDI background music is as good as the classic Sonic games.

Remember when I mentioned that Magical Drop had the hottest super-deformed chicks ever? I take it back, I think Advance Wars does.
I've been real curious about the series for a long time, though I've always managed to resist plunging in. Is it related to the old Famicom and Super Famicom Wars games on the NES and SNES?
