Five was decent, but the show was definitely on its way out. What with Riley and Dawn and Spike in love with Buffy (which I still WTF at) and AtS doing pretty well on its own, it didn't need to be anymore.
I can honestly say that I was heavily into Angel, the series. I don't care what anyone sez to me, I see freakin' potential between Cordy and Angel...even if she is dead, damn it! Oh, and Puppet Angel was the greatest guy to EVER exist in the Buffy/Angel world...EVER.
RERUNS DON'T COUNT, STUPID!
I've heard new epsiodes of Family Guy is coming back on Fox, if that's the case, I'll die a happy and adequate death...

Well when you said off the air, I thought you meant not shown on TV period.
As for Family Guy, according to this recent interview Seth MacFarlane himself says they're looking for a March release.

I think it's a good thing that futurama was brought to a conclusion in it's forth season. If you draw the obvious comparison to the simpsons, you could see how if it was continued it would become too big to stop; a juggernaught series with all the freshness squeezed out of it. The only reason the simpsons has not ended is that it's just too profitable merchandising-wise. The show itself is out of ideas. Be glad that Fry and his friends did not share the same fate.
Incidentally, a lot of comedy shows have been sewn up before they could jump the shark, most notable among them is Fawlty Towersl; It did not have the chance to become unoriginal since Cleese ended it after two series. I have not really seen enough of family guy to make a comment about it, though. Has it gone down in quality? Damn stingy parents and their reluctance to pay for sky.

Yes, Simpspns went doen in quality, athough some of the newer epsiodes, while not as good as the classics were certainly better then the other Simpsons epsiode which turned into one of them "What the Hell!?" moments, even for Simpsons.
I guess my main reason for still watching that show is for sheer nostaglic sake and dedication. I've been watching Simpsons since I was 6, that's about 12 years, I just can't compell myself to stop...it's kinda like that old stuffed animal you had. You don't play with it anymore, but you just don't have the heart to throw it away...and if you do throw them away, you're heartless, a danger through your heart!

Wyvern's right. 70-something episodes is a good stopping place for a series like Futurama. They were already starting to run out of ideas. Look at the episode in which everyone gets 300 dollars. That was horrible - and several of the episode's plot threads are re-treads of earlier episodes (Farnsworth becoming younger).
Back on topic, thanks for the posts Baba - but I was thinking more along the lines of Incestual Gay Hanson Fanfiction
If Buffy scat and watersports didn't kill your soul, maybe something like that would do it?
