Can't women walk around with their tops off in Austin, Texas? If so, I think that makes it officially better than Utah.

Let me get off-topic by going back ON-topic. By some unbelievably miraculous stroke of luck, I found a copy of I & II+ and put a deposit on it.

BOW TO ME, BITCHES.

Why? I hate PSO now. It was cool in 2001 when it was online on the Dreamcast and it was all new and magical and shit...now it just hurts to play. Maybe if Gamecube interweb access was easier to get a fucking hold of I could relive my 13-year-old glory days.

I've been here for the last 16 years of my life, and I've never seen that happen.

Well, just because they can doesn't mean they will.

Consult your lawbooks, damn it.

It's odd, I just saw PSOV2 at a Half-Price Books yesterday. They also had 4 copies of The Ring: Something's Terror for dreamcast. Oh, and I saw fucking Grandia for PS there, in pretty good condition I might add.

Is the game any good? I kinda want to go back there and get it. It's calling my name, damnit, I can hear it in my sleep.

I hear it's pretty good, better than Grandia II, and I found Grandia II pretty enjoyable.

By the way, what makes Episodes I & II+ different from Episodes I & II? And if anybody has Episode III, could you tell me if it's any good?

PSO Ep 1 & 2+ is possibly the most offensive Sonic Team upgrade thus far-- it's exactly the same as the original Ep 1 & 2 release, but with the first game's online-only quests made accessible offline. There may be something else too, but if there is, it's even less significant an 'addition'.

Episode 3 is generally regarded to just be kinda lame.

I liked Episode 3 all right. I only played for a couple hours, though.

Online quests now offline? Friggin' sweet, now I don't have to shell out the extra bucks for Broadband.

I enjoyed Ep. 3 for awhile... I played Ep. 1 and 2 for well over a year, but PSO 3 held my interest for a few weeks.

It's like PSO, except without the action, exploration, or staying power. The story was pretty interesting though. Those Card battles take forever though. Whenever I play it lately, I keep a GBA SP by my side so I can have something to do while my opponent (who runs on molasses, apparently) makes his turn.

Hey, aren't you in charge of the PSO pages, Squirrely or Squirrel or Squh or whatever you want to be called?

Eh, yeah, I suppose I am. But progress is slow... Erosion works faster than I do.

I never go to play PSO on the DC so I really enjoyed it on the Xbox. I probably put in well over a thousand hours on that game. The hacking has gotten way to bad now though. There are weapons that do 4000 damage and whatnot, its a pain in the ass to play.

Davburite 10. And just be glad they watered down the Spread Needle's base ATP. A hacked Needle in the hands of a DC HUmar could clear a room in seconds. That combined with the NOLing makes the hacked Dark Flows and J-Swords more then tolerable.

Eh, I'm fine. The only thing I'm worried about is getting some screenshots, but I'll worry about that after I'm done writing everything.

NOL'ing on the DC sucked... I never got far in the DC version, because everytime I'd hit around level 30 or so, I'd get NOL'd. I really only got into the game once the Gamecube version was released.

That's good, 'cause I realize that I'm not that good at it. It took me five tries to beat Bob the Big Red Ass-Dragon.

I'm only at Level 13, and I've already been playing a day.

The secret to PSO, and I'm passing on little-known information here, is that you have to kill the monsters. If you see a monster-- kill it. Also, try not to die... if that happens, you end up back on Pioneer 2. My advice is: avoid doing that.

Wooooooooooooooooooow! So THAT'S what I have to do with the monsters! I thought I was supposed to invite them over for lemonade and chips! And the dying thing...I thought for SURE that's how you won the damn thing, but now I know otherwise!

Thank you, Buttered Snack God! Your intellect once again proves to be the right tool with which to wipe my fucking ass.

But Delphine has revealed your fatal flaw, and if everyone knows you're being sarcastic, it takes away some of the cynical edge.
...No, I don't understand what I said up there either. I think it's the effect of too much Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brain.
