Should I keep saving my money and get DOA:Ultimate for X-box or should I wait and get a Nintendo DS (which I want on launch day). I get $20 a week, $10 for chores and another $10 if I mow the yard, and I currently have $20. Help would be appreciated

I suppose they'll be announcing the launch line-up at this DS press conference deal they're having in a couple weeks. Hopefully there will be some surprises in there. I'm amazed how little we know about this thing when it is so close to launch!
If Nintendo even wants the DS have a chance to come out on top of the PSP, they'd better have some interesting, original titles out before the PSP arrives. After all, original games is about all the DS can have going for it when competing against the substantially more powerful but far too port-burdened PSP.

Well, there have been SOME original titles, but it sure doesn't feel like it sometimes. :P But on the other hand, the GBA had zero competition. Plus, they're ports of games that are often around a decade old, so they'll be new to a large chunk (maybe even the majority) of GBA owners. I think. The average owner of a GBA is still only around 12 or 13, right?
But I look at the PSP, and what do I see? Ports of games I played last year. Blah!

I've always thought the DOA series was pretty crappy, gameplay-wise. But the titanic amounts of fan service it... um, serves, more than makes up for it's shitty, mash-happy fighting engine. Not that I've been counting or anything, but probably 1 out of every 20 wank-a-thons of mine are dedicated to some DOA doujinshi. Damn, that's pathetic.
Anyway, I'm getting a DS for sure at launch. You should all know my reasons by now.

Well, I got DOA3 for $20, and I thought that was worth it, but yeah, from videos I've seen of DOA:Ultimate it does'nt look like they add much gameplay wise besides online play. You know, I think I'm going to get a DS, on launch day hopefully, and sure, It does'nt quite look like there are any REAL good games for it yet, but it seems a lot of systems are that way at launch, so I'm going to take my chances.
