Of course! Any game with a snuff paddle is well worth 50 bucks.

Ninja Gaiden is the best example of the DMC formula, I think largely because it incorporates some interesting, very intricate level design. But it's still Devil May Cry. There has to be another way, I know it.

Project Altered Beast not only rips off DMC's style, apparently it also rips off Resident Evil's storyline.

I don't want a story about soldiers who turn themselves into mutant werewolves to fight an evil corporation's zombies!

I want to play as a homosexual greco-roman God in pink tights! I want to play as Ganymede or Achilies! Not Leon Kennedy with fur.

*sighs*

Hey Zeta, ever heard of the Cho Aniki series?

Of course. If only they got rid of all the weird shit and just had a bunch of Japanese men in barely anything floating through space and groping eachother.

What more could anyone ask for?

Curious, I googled Cho Aniki, and all I have to say is: OMG, WTF, BBQ.

Edit: And then I found this.

I MUST find a rom of this game...

It's a series of games. The first one was a shooter on the PCE circa 1992, I think. It had a sequel, then a fighting game on the SNES (which is what that sprite is from), then a PSX version and a PS2 version that came out not that long ago.

I'm sure I have a few of the roms lying around, but I haven't actually played it yet.

That should explain things nicely to anyone who wants to know about the Cho-Anki series.

For your bit of useless trivia for the day, the music composer for the Cho Aniki series, Hayama Koji, contributed the E. Honda theme remix for Capcom's 15th Aniversary Street Fighter Tribute Album.

You're forgetting the Saturn version.

For some reason, I know at least 3 people who own it.

Either that or he secretly enjoys two sweaty, steroid-bound men who probably groups each other as much as he likes boobies.

And what the fuck is Spong?
Given the way people are talking about the site, it sounds like it's a load of scarab fodder.

However, I do now have the urge to do a fanfic where every member of Sonic Team, past, present, U.G.A., AM2, whatever, team up and beat the shit out of everything.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*We see a darkened room, looking as though it is part of some kind of bunker. In the center of the room are three men, all Japanese, all wearing hooded robes.*

Naka: It is time, Brother Oshima.

Oshima: Yes, it is time.

*Cut to stock footage of a nuclear bomb going off.*

Iizuka (voice-over): Time to own the world's ass!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, it would be an orgy of carnage, it would.

EDIT: WOOT! Seventy-fifth post! Not bad for a lurker...

Seriously, though, I'll try to cut down.

I just had to be an ass, at first. I just like having my "Edits" seperate from the rest of the post. It's one of my M.B. quirks, I suppose.

There's NO NEED TO SHOUT!

AND THERE'S EVEN LESS OF A REASON TO USE BOLD-FACED TYPE, AND MULTIPLE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!

AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON USING A GIANT FONT SIZE!

There's that assinine urge, again...
