My Great Uncle that lives in Gretna left yesterday at 4:00pm and didn't get to Baton Rouge until 4:00am. Hope your travels go better than his did.

Hey guys, I'm still alive. I'm in a town called Nachitoches, and I'm actually posting from a public library. We left home at about 2:30pm and we didn't get here until about 4:30<b>am</b>. That's about a fourteen hour drive, and it usually only takes about three and a half hours to get here. I was watching the news, and people are actually still having hurricane parties back home in bars that are still open; Awesome! Thanks for all the support, guys. The storm's not forecast to hit us directly, so I should be home in a few days.

My grandma is putting up about 30 relatives and friends of relatives next door. I haven't bothered poking my head in to see who's there, but I assume at least two of my three uncles who live in the New Orleans area are there.

Looks like they aren't going to cancel school. Curses.

Yeah, I used to live back East (In America's armpit, New Jersey) a few years ago, and for awhile after I first moved here, I sorta missed the seasons.

I live in Pennsylvania, which must be all those blackheads that show up under the hair.

Huzzah! I'm back, and it turns out that at the last minute the thing turned a little to the east and all we got was some wind and power outages. It's actually pretty sunny here. So, we really left for nothing, but it's alright because we pretty much got the whole week off of school. And I didn't mean for the whole "I might be dead" thing to really be taken that seriously, so sorry if anyone got a little too worried. Again, thanks for caring, guys. >_^

Ah, you lucked out. The big easy is long overdue for a nice, fat hurricane, and when it finally happens (which is just a matter of time), the city is doomed.

Now that I think about it, what would they do to the Aquarium of the Americas? That place is just asking to get blown to pieces, and with all the hundreds of thousands of dollars of exotic fish in there...

Ditto. Now, about your elections...I'm not trying to start something, just wanting to ask you to VOTE. (many teenagers had'nt voted in 2000, and they're probably sorry for that...but what happened hapened, and you- no offenses -can't change that.) For America's sake.
