I think I actually preferred Mad Jack, again because of the challenge.

I enjoyed Creepy Castle, again because it was just so goddamned immense. Also, again, have to go with Hideout Helm.

I never liked DK64, but personally, I rather like that second to last boss you beat. You know, the one with the giant K. Rool cardboard cutout that had that manical, batshit insane laughter? I found great pleasure in launching monkeys and gorillas out of a cannon.

I enjoyed all of Rare's wacky-animal-collect-a-bunch-of-shit games. Banjo Kazooie, of course, was the best and a classic, but I enjoyed DK64 and Tooie as well. While they didn't measure up, I still thought they were quality games.

The best part of DK64 was the multiplayer, in my opinion. Holy hell that was some good times.

Back to the original discussion: I agree with the whole "Tooie was way too big and far too much crap was happening at the same time" thing, I got lost very often as what I had to do next in that game.

It was much better when each jiggy had its own puzzle, totally unrelated to the other events. [For complexity in that regard, making the pyramids appear in Gobi Desert or feeding that god forsaken Eagle in Click Clock Wood is all you need.]

Hopefully BK3 [wow I'm lazy] will take a page from the first game again.

[Ah crud, I have to buy a 360 to play it...]

I think the best thing about Banjo Kazooie 3 is that now, somewhere in Rare, there is a glimmer of hope for Killer Instinct 3 to be produced.

I'll give you that much - the K. Rool Kut Out battle certainly a favorite of mine as far as boss fights I've loved. ESPECIALLY when you start nearing the last couple of hits.

I just heavily dislike the overbloated "collection fest"-ness of it all.

I think this old joke must be mentioned:

Nintendo: You were the chosen one! You were supposed to stop Microsoft, not join them!
Rare: I HATE YOU!
