What she said. I believe, in WB's press release they said they were mainly aiming it to the 2-6 year old demographic from their preschool programing and I think it is a better effort for young children's entertainment than that drek that is Baby Looney Toons.

I'm not quite sure I remember anything I watched within that time frame. Maybe Power Rangers. Ninja Turtles? I was never a Barney kid. But I'm guessing my interest in those lasted past six years old. I'm not even sure I watched TV when I was two years old.

So it's WB's answer to Vegeta. And I thought this couldn't get much crapper.
They could at least have made him like a serious Duck Dodgers even the Coyote guy looses his class-A ACME rocket for a pair of Jet Shoes which is also crap.

Let's see...I was raised on (so-so) Ninja Turtles, He-Man, Thundercats, Tom & Jerry, some brazillian kid's show, Swat Cats and Cavaleiros do Zodiaco (Saint Seiya). A few years later, Beast Wars completed the circle.

It's problably not an acronym. http://www.acme.com/what_is_acme/ has some possible explanations for it.

Also, <A HREF="http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=acme">acme</A> just means really, really good. So a generic "brand name" for really, really good anvils, bricks, crates, explosives, etc.

When I was two I liked those shows I listed. As I got older it became Transformers, The Real Ghostbusters, Ninja Turtles and later, Power Rangers.

I still like Transformers. I still collect them (not the new series, only G1.), I have close to 300 G1 TF toys. I think the Beast Wars toys sux0r3d.

Seconded, although it almost turned me to the side of the furry. I was dissapionted that the series was short lived and the extras on the DVD are pretty crap.

That show always weirds me out when I watch it, because so many of the voice actors went on to do voices for either Beast Wars or the SatAM Sonic cartoon.
