Not true. I am actually made entirely out of hair, and could be seriously injured by that sort of thing.

Nice neckbeard Opa. Don't see many people sporting that one nowadays.

It's a low poly picture of Rockman I did. It's supposed to be part of the Colossus/Iceman/Rockman/Roll combo MvsC2 pic, but I decided I'd share a picture of Rockman ahead of time.

That is better than any other 3d Megaman i've seen.
Edit: Actually, reminds me a bit of Cannon Spike.

That's really nice! How low-poly is it? Looks a bit like his face and helmet have about as many triangles as the rest of him. :)

Ha. he's got 2874 triangles with two arm cannons, but when I replace both arm cannons with fingered hands, he's got 3246 triangles. The truth is his face doesn't have that many polygons, though I just found out his helmet alone has 1042 triangles. So yes, his helmet alone has about 1/3 of the total polygon count.

Are those individual teeth in his mouth?

It's quite hard to guess an accurate polygon count for a somewhat complex 3D model with just a simple bidimensional capture, the head looks almost round to me.
Oh, and great job Cuckoo. The three, I like them all. Infact, I'm gonna go play more MVC2, so excuse me...

I think the biggest reason his helmet has so many polygons is because of the inside of the helmet. The inside of the helmet also has a surface of polygons, and I imagine without it the polygon count would be reduced by about 400.
Also, no those aren't individual teeth in his mouth. It's a part of the inner mouth texture and you could say it's kind of like an illusion, because there are no teeth modeled on him at all.

Dang hahah! For that many triangles you could probably slip a few out from some places and smooth out his arm cannon/gauntlets the bottoms of his feet a bit. I think this pose in particular is just drawing out the low-polyness of those areas, but if the head is so round as that I think those areas could use a few more.

I love that the rocks have a checkered pattern to them.
