Though he's plenty spry on his wiry legs, Dr. Eggman usually travels around in his custom-built hovercraft/walker, the Eggmobile. In addition to being a convenient way to get around, the versatile craft slides like a cockpit into any number of larger, more destructive machines. This allows for quick escape when Sonic smashes the robot du jour (as he invariably does).
The Eggmobile is also known simply as "Eggman's Mobile" and, in the Sonic Drift games, the Egg Typhoon.
