A fairly run-of-the-mill city with a few interesting locations, some (such as Holy Summit) of dubious canon:

  • Central City -- Downtown. Amy shares an apartment with Cream here. A long highway leads directly to Holy Summit.
  • Central Lab -- A large government research facility. Access is restricted to high-ranking politicians and scientists.
  • Emerald Town -- A picturesque seaside residential district, a suburb of Central City. Tails has a house and a lab there.
  • Night Babylon -- The seedy casino district of Central City.
  • Club Rouge -- A casino and secret hideout of Rouge.
  • Gimme Shelter -- One of Eggman's bases, nestled conspicuously in Night Babylon.
  • Holy Summit -- A high mountain pass, home of the Emerald altar, Knuckles, and a magically revived Chaos. A long highway leads directly to Central City.
