They should of made it more obvious of how to operate those things. I told someone in school last year how to get past that part. Could you imagine getting stuck on a game that long?

The only reason I figured out that damn barrel is because Tails kept spazzing out and jumping on it.

Definately the worst feedback given in a Sonic game. If they'd had just made Sonic lean when you press up or down, people would have been able to figure out that something was happenning. I instead got sidetracked by Tails jumping to move the barrels and ended up using a rapid fire controller and jumping to get by that part.

Seriously, I owned that barrel at the tender age of 8 when I got the game. It wasn't hard to figure out. If me and Pop managed it, why couldn't the rest of the fucking world?

this barrel was the reason iIve quit playing Sonic & Knuckles Collection...for three years. It was pure luck when I figured it out.

It was freaking simple. There are only two possible options. Jumping, which obviously doesn't work and pressing up and down. I don't get why you guys were stuck for so long. My friend and I both figured it out, and let me tell you something about my friend, he is a god damn moron.
