404 Hill Zone
(Forgive my lack of a clever topic title.)
I just checked the GHZ front page and noticed all the links are broken, except for the museum. (apparently it's been this way for awhile)
Any word on when the site will be working again?

This is because there's nothing to visit besides the Museum. The best stuff isn't even linked anywhere.

I've noticed the same thing... It really doesn't bug me that most of the stuff is missing, except for the content in the Other Games and Sonic Team sections. It's outdated, of course, but so is everything else.

Those have been broken for a year at least. Or it feels like it. Even i'm slightly stunned it took this long for anyone to say anything.

Huh, I wasn't aware of this. Are you getting the error:
"Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression."
I can't seem to find a solution so I might just open a ticket with my host to hopefully find out what's wrong.

Yeah, everything's there. Most of it's outdated, but it's there. Why the front page links don't work is a confounding mystery.
The Sonicopedia still isn't finished, which is why I haven't linked it anywhere. I was halfway through the process of adding the stuff from World Adventure, but I haven't had a chance to mess with it in a few months.

Re: 404 Hill Zone
For what it's worth, in Opera it prints the nav and then a bunch of garbage after the Google SiteSearch. In other browsers (IE and Chrome, specifically), I get generic "Can not load page" errors.
Going off of the message you're getting from Firefox, I'd check the .htaccess file and make sure your MIME types aren't configured in some odd way where it's telling the server to send the pages as something else.
I don't know how that could have happened, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Also, there might be a rat nibbling on the cable. You should probably check that out.

Re: 404 Hill Zone
The Maria sonicopedia entry has a glaring error, Maria's last words were "Sayonara, Shadow the hedgehog". I realize that ShTH replaced "sayonara" with "Adios" but why would you choose ShTH to be your guide in this matter and not the better game?

Re: 404 Hill Zone
Stupid edit time limit, I meant to add that otherwise the 'pedia looks great and exudes professionalism, so now if I ever have to explain 18 years worth of Sonic history to someone I have a reference to go by.

In the Japanese dialogue, she says "adios" in both games.
