Rayman Raving Rabbids
Zelda Twilight Princess
Yoshi's Island DS
New Super Mario Bros.
Pokemon Ranger
Mario 64 DS (a little late?)
Sonic Riders
Fullmetal Alchemist Conqerer of Shamballa (with lots of blood)
FFVII Advent Children
Manga Computones CD
100+ candy
From my fiance
Art of Oddworld book
Nightmare Before Christmas mug and utensils
Chocolate and snacks galore
Couples reference art
And then there's the $100+ everyone else gave me. Very awesome. List your shit.

Only notable gift I've recieved was Okami, which kept me occupied for a good long while until I got stuck at the weight puzzle in the Ezofuji dungeon (I'll GameFAQs it sooner or later). I also recieved an Intuos3 tablet, but my parents got me a 4x5 instead of the 6x8 I wanted, so I'm going to have to exchange it for the right size eventually.

I got an Xbox 360, came with a $100 gift card to Toys R Us.
Gears of War and Oblivion. The latter being a birthday present from my aunt I opened early. I didn't ask for it, I guess my cousins kind of assumed I would like it.
And then $100 from my rich aunt & uncle, and a $20 Target gift card from my grandma.

Ok... no games here, or flashlights. But a bunch of DVDs!
Family Guy Season 1
Donnie Darko
Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away
And some books. A great art book about the history of comics, Will Eisner's The Plot and Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide. Which is nice.
And two t-shirts, one of them featuring Pat Morita's face.

I bought one of these for myself last year. When I got it, I cranked the handle for about 60 seconds. A year later, it still has power. And it uses LEDs instead of bulbs so it should never burn out and supposedly doesn't use a lead-acid battery so it's pretty much the last flashlight I'll ever need.DackAttac wrote:Plus a flashlight that you power by pumping a handle

Re: Presents
I think I made out pretty good:
First season of Scrubs on dvd
Some volume (I forget) of Mystery Science Theater 3000 on dvd
Buzz Ballads (a collection of rock songs)
First season of Justice League on dvd
Some scented shampoos and lip balms
A shitload of resin dragon ornaments
And a little gecko keychain/light (it's cute)
And a few day after Christmas, my mom was nice enough to order "The Legend of Spyro; A New Beginning" for me. Should be here any day now.
Probably some other little things I can't seem to recall at the moment.

The same goes for me but replace the DVD recorder with 11 driving lessons. I'm not especially interested in driving though to be honest and have no plans on owning my own car but I was never going to get lessons without some "encouragement", I guess my mum realised this as she got me the provisional license when I was 17, 3 years ago and I haven't taken a lesson since.Gaz wrote:Mostly the ususal stuff this year(socks, deodrant, chocolate). The only real notable thing I got was a HDD/DVD recorder.

Same deal for me, except with the added notions that aside from not caring about cars, I'm generally scared shit to drive one.James McGeachie wrote:The same goes for me but replace the DVD recorder with 11 driving lessons. That said, I got nothing for Christmas (aside from a late present I'm getting from a friend) since my family like stopped celebrating Christmas like five years ago. We just stopped caring, I guess.

On a semi-related note to your post, I passed my driver's test on Tuesday. The only thing my tester put on my temporary license was that I "fail to keep right". Then again, I was so scared I was shaking, and it didn't help that my tester seemed pissed the entire time.
My dad tells me that I just have to keep practicing now, and eventually I'll feel much more confident about driving. I guess you guys should just keep trying and you'll get used to it too. Unless you're cool with taking public transportation all your life.

I got Rainbow Six Vegas, Zelda (but no Wii), some new slippers, a pair of jeans, and a couple hoodies from Sam and Fuzzy. I think that's it, I don't remember exactly cause I opened them on the 17th because then I went out of the country and still haven't returned. I think my mom said she'd give me a hundred bucks or so towards a Wii as well when I get back.
