Sonic The Fighters Question

Post by MegaKitsune »

I'm almost sorry to ask this as I've seen how you people answer questions that may be considered "dumb", but was Sonic the Fighters ever released in the USA or was it Japan only?

I know that it's on the new Gamecube compilation (WTFever it's called, Gems or somesuch) but I'm not interested in that, I want to track down the actual arcade board and I am wondering if I could find it in U.S. arcade auctions or if I'd have to import it (which I really don't want to do because it'd be expensive and I don't know if it'd work in a Supergun).

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you! ^.^

It did, in fact, come out in the US as <i>Sonic Championship</i>, complete with mispelling in intro ("REVENGE OF DR. ROBOTNI<B>C</b>" or something to that effect).

Of course, you'd have known this by just going onto the main GHZ page and looking it up.

Stop posting new threads for every little question!

Yes, Sonic the Fighters was released in US arcades with tht title "Sonic Championship". I've had the pleasure of playing it myself.
