I remember a contest being connected with the pasta cans in the US - peel the label back, and it would reveal what you won. The first prize was apparently a Genesis in a stand with all of the Sonic games released up to that point. Naturally, I never came across that - I always got the last prize, points for Aladdin's Palace (?), some sort of amusement place that wasn't located anywhere near to me.
