There's nothing to clear up. It's just a silly intentional anachronism, and a nod to the Saturn's relative success in Japan (where it trounced the N64 for the longest time - although it still couldn't topple the PS1).

Y'know, if they DO end up making the port, it'd be awesome if they added a couple of new games to the Saturn's library or the arcade. Old '80s Sega titles, of course. Not that I can think of too many such titles to add... Outrun?

The events of the third SH depends on both SH and SH2's storyline's not being altered in any way. From The New World's plot revolves around the Malice that was released in SH2, and SH2's whole plot begins with Alice's death. Also, Yuri has to meet Karin so that, eventually, she'll become his mother.

What if they ported Shenmue 1 and 2 to the Wii? The first one would be easy to port, since it was on the Dreamcast, the second, I don’t know...maybe they could add the audio from the Xbox version, I bet Microsoft doesn’t have the rights anymore, since that was almost seven years ago.
