The one he does in front of Tails' house just before the first Sky Chase. In the cutscene depicted in Tails' demo sequence.

What, "Watch out you're gonna crash ahh" wasn't enough for you? =P

I like emphasising the hilarity of the characters' expressions whenever I can, but I wanna only do it when doing so doesn't take away an important part of the cutscene's context. I was originally gonna have a screenshot of the scene after Chaos' defeat, but there wasn't much to show, so I had a full two screenshots for the plane crash sequence. Which I actually needed anyway, because I couldn't catch the entire sense of the cutscene into a single shot.

I can totally do Shadow Hog's, though.

Well, my point was it was the exact same pose as the other one but in Mystic Ruins instead of Station Square, but yeah.

...Or maybe I can't. I forgot I was squishing both cutscenes into two screenshots, so I can't have the plane liftoff if I do the gawk. Sory ShdwHg :(.

Before you drive yourself crazy taking screenshots of every nuance, keep in mind that I'm probably only going to use a single screenshot for each character in each Action Stage and there's no place for screenshots of cutscenes at all. Any more than that and it would get insane.

This is why I asked you in the first place. God damn you, Jared.

Are you fine with two screenshots per stage, boss and minigame, and absolutely no cutscene screens, then? I think a single screen per action stage just doesn't cut it because most stages have at least two distinct settings (Casinopolis even has four, but you can use Sonic's space for the pinball tables since Tails and Knuckles cover the rest).

EDIT: Or a single shot per boss and minigame, since we're cutting down on action stages.

For those curious, I've updated the preview with all the work I'd gotten done. A few shots are going to get deleted, but the action stages and bosses which I've already covered will use select screens from the bunch.

Every Sonic Adventure stage has at least two settings. If there's more than two then there's a unique one for Sonic. Like Sonic running down the building in Speed Highway and him being the only one who has the go karts at the beginning of Twinkle Park. It'd go something like

Emerald Coast
1st half: E-102 & Big
2nd half: Sonic

Windy Valley
1st half: Sonic
2nd half: Tails

Casinopolis
sewers: Tails
lobby: Knuckles
casino: Sonic

Icecap
outside: Sonic
inside: Big
snowboarding: Tails

Twinkle Park
go-karts: Sonic
outside: Big
inside: Amy

Speed Highway
1st half: Tails
down the building: Sonic
in the city: Knuckles

Red Mountain
beginning: Sonic
middle: Knuckles (he doesn't have access to half of Red Mountain's outside area)
in the mountain: E-102

And I'm sure you can figure out the rest (I'm also sure you would've figured out everything I just typed too but oh well I'm too far into typing this)

And then there are the Adventure fields' shots.

Since there are so many locales in each one, I'd suggest going for a shot of each character in a different part of each field, like Big's house in the Jungle maze, the entrance to the Final Egg, the sewers and Twinkle Park's entrance in Station Square, Eggman's place and the "prison" in the Egg Carrier... well, maybe I'm overdoing it. :P

Yeah. This is what I was doing already.

Sonic's Emerald Coast will show the whale chase scene and the ponds in the second half. There's not much choice for Big and Gamma, but we'll see what we can do. Sonic will exhibit the tornado in Windy Valley since he's the only one who sees it. Gamma will put more emphasis on the first part and Tails on the last part. And so on.

rly. This is obviously what I'm doing. If you'll notice, Sonic's screen for Station Square is done, showing off the casino at night.
