If you know Uwe Boll, or someone who knows him, or etc...

And that's where you made your assumption. You used the logic I used for a specific circumstance out of context. You assumed that the logic I used earlier was: "I don't care if it doesn't affect me." You didn't consider that there may have been an unspoken stipulation and the actual logic was: "I don't care if it doesn't affect me and it is not harmful."
So I don't read, you aren't very articulate when you post and you make ignorant assumptions. I guess that just about covers everything. Thanks for playing, it's bed time for me.

As a impartial viewer of this thread, I'd have to honestly say that Double S got, how you say, pwned.
Tsui, I'm genuinely hoping this was a clever parody of the Cruise on the Today Show debacle rather than a real post.Segaholic2 wrote:Do you even know anything about scientology? I can't see how you can't hate them if you have the faintest idea of what they do, even if it "doesn't affect you".
Also, I'm insulted that you'd say that I'm ignorant about a subject that I've actually researched enough to know how much I should hate it. Who's making ignorant assumptions now?

Who cares? All of the recent franchises Boll has secured are bland, unartistic dreck. Are you tremendously terrified that he might defile the Hunter: the Reckoning series? Absolutely aghast that he may not give the BloodRayne series the intelligent interpretation it deserves? Particularly perturbed by the possible desecration of the Far Cry series? I doubt it. These franchises and Uwe Boll deserve each other.
Besides, I've never understood the attitude that if someone is bad at something then they have no right to do it.

Yeah, I guess that the whole "if someone is bad at something they have no right to it" is a bit extremist. After all, practice makes perfect, right?ban ME wrote:Who cares? However, the way that most societies are structured, if someone is bad at something, they will be reprimanded (through bad reviews, poor sales, etc.), in an attempt to get them to either get better or quit what they are doing. It's a negative sanction that is meant to decrease the amount of bad products. Simple, no?
Also, Hunter the Reckoning is really a good game, if you actually play it. I found jumping while spinning around in circles to be especially entertaining. However, I was not aware that it is a series now. I vaguely remember hearing of a second one being made, but I didn't know that it had been released.
