Brazillian news for MMORPG fans

Post by Brazillian Cara »

Have you heard of this new online game, Erinia? It's an online RPG just like PSO and/or Everquest, but made in Brazil and emersed in our (brazillians) folklore. It must be coming to the US this month. Man, how do I put a link here...

You can just paste the URL. If you want to make a fancy "CLICK HERE" kinda thing I think you can use the [URL] tags or something. Or the HTML tags.

There's folklore in Brazil? I'd like to read up on some of that...

That Brazilian fighting-style based on head-stands is pretty damn cool. I'd play any game that let me create a matrial artist that stands on his head. Like Shenmue - but upside down.

Yeah, but I don't know if we have Capoeira in this game...

Doesn't some guy from Tekken use Capoeira? I can't remember his name, I fucking hate Tekken.

I won't mention Hitmontop, though. For the sake of the children.

And while I'm at it, isn't El Chupacabra from Mexican folklore? If they made a game about that it'd be kickass.

On a related note, me and my band wrote a song about El Chupacabra. It's mostly in Spanish. And it's ska. W00t.

There was Eddy, but I think he was just some kind of stupid break dancer that kicked people.

Well, yeah - but the Chupacabra tends to only attack goats, hence the name "goatsucker".

So unless you were to play as a goat, it might not be a very exciting game.

And who wants to play a videogame as a goat?

On a related tangent, I have seen porn that featured El Chupacabra as a major plot point. Weird, eh?

No, the term "horny" actually was derived from goats. In ancient Greece, when goats were used in plays, they were always putting their heads under the actors crotches, no kidding. (Or something like that.)

Dude, you could totally play as El Chupacabra and wreak havoc on Brazilian mountain towns, sucking goats left right and centre. I mean, come on, they're making a Jaws game. I'd seriously buy it.

I guess I'm alone with that, huh.

I don't know either if there're chupacabras in this game. But be warned that you play as humans.
