I never played a MegaMan game, so this news doesn't affect me too much.

Wow. Just... wow. By "never played a MegaMan game" you mean you've only played Megaman X, right?

I grew up without any Nintendo consoles, so I never could play the earlier games. I've seen some friends play them, but they were too selfish to let me have a go. Needless to say, they aren't my friends anymore.

Um..., actually it is a valid excuse. Here in America, The Wily Wars was only released through the Sega Channel, which very few people actually had.

What about the Game Gear version? I KNOW they made a MegaMan game for Game Gear at one point...

There was. It was an amalgamation of Megamans 4 and 5. I think it was only released in the UK, but could be wrong. Guess it's time to hit up the Megaman Homepage!

Meanwhile, here in the twilight of 2007, Oompa can prolly grab this on the cheap and be happy/frustrated/bewildered.

Actual factual alternate costumes/skins are confirmed. I hope there's more of these in the game.

Sadly, I don't think there will be. Notice how it says "Wario alone.

So, do you think the costume changes his abilities, at least in appearance? Does he still become Warioman in this costume, or does he, say, become Bull Wario? I really liked his earlier platformers, so I'm glad there's a bit of nostalgia here.

Actually, we don't know what some of his specials are yet... I'm guessing normal B is his smash/dash attack from his platforming games, and up-B is... maybe the floating Wario? You know, when he gets stung in Wario Lands 2, 3, or 4?

It's nice because this update sets a precedent for future Smash games (assuming there ARE future Smash games) to include separate models for other characters as well, i.e. "Shadow" Sonic, or "Dixie" Diddy Kong, or even "Marth" Ike.

I really doubt it, this series has no future, what with absolutely no one buying it...

Oh well, then he could have at least taken the first plane to England. It was totally worth it.

And Wario's gettin' frighteningly awesome.

Only if boobs come out from underneath your shoulders. Like, literally on the sides of your stomach.

Sonic finally gets some limelight. Well, more than what he got in October, anyway.

Final Smash is old hat, but Angel Island Zone remix? Not what I was expecting. I am pleasantly surprised.

Obnoxious Sonic guitar, finally confirmed for Brawl!

That said, it's a nice remix, but I hope this is one of those bonus CD item tracks. And I kind of hope Angel Island isn't Sonic's one stage.

Criminy, that's fantastic! Seriously, I'm pretty much all grins. I recall someone saying in the Sonic 3 thread a while back that the game's music was too complex for the Genesis and might be better suited to a better sound chip/tech, and this pretty much proves it for me. It sounds so much better.

If Senoue is doing all of the Sonic-related music, I hope he's finally learned to lay off the guitar. I'm almost certain he has sex with his guitar, he's that obsessed with it.

Project Chaos showed that a long time ago, but yeah, this is fantastic! Jun's high-pitched guitar squealing always gets to me, no matter how much he abuses it. Heres hoping for Hydrocity and Casino Night. I'm really looking forward to Sonic's SSE stages too.

You may want to remember that Senoue also composed the utterly brilliant score for the Mega Drive's Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island.
At least the guy knew what he was doing back then.

I think the song is pretty awesome! It's not exactly one of my favourite classic Sonic songs to begin with, but as far as remakes go it is pretty faithful, even with the guitars. It's not like the original didn't have some vaguely guitar like synths in it already.

Dammit. I wish he hadn't teased us with noting two pieces of the stage music but not the actual stage itself. I was really hoping that tonight's update would have been Green/Emerald Hill, Angel Island, or Emerald Coast.
