You know that didn't look terrible. I get the chills when starscream is flying around and transforming in midair. Does anyone know if they're going to talk?

They are--Peter Cullen is reprising his role as Optimus Prime, David Keith is voicing Barricade (the Decepticon police car), and Hugo Weaving is the voice of Megatron.

I was kinda interested until I saw this one trailer. Humans and Transformers = suck. There has yet to be a single Transformers series with humans in it I can watch.

Aren't humans a necessity seeing as their vehicle forms are disguises?

There weren't any in the CG Beast Wars series or the 80s cartoons, if I recall. Glad for it.

Er, actually there were humans in the original 80s series. It didn't take place on our Earth for nothing, you know.

And there were prehistoric humans in the third season of Beast Wars.

Nah, it wasn't the lack of humans that made Beast Wars tolerable. I'm pretty sure the real reason that Beast Wars is better than every other Transformers show is because all the other shows were complete garbage.

I loved the original series as much as the next six-year-old, but seriously, it's time for everyone to disembark from the nostalgia train and face reality. It was a terrible, terrible show. The animation was horrible and the stories made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Like many of the offerings of the 1980s, it's among the most utterly incompetent cartoons ever created. The only thing it had going for it were the characters... ie: the one part of the show they didn't actually invent themselves.

I'm surprised by how decent the new film is looking, but quite frankly, it wouldn't take much to be an improvement over the original.

I liked the Dinobots. Grey and yellow metal dinosaurs are the perfect disguise to blend in with modern Earth society!

Only one thing can stop Unicron... THE MATRIX!

Why can it do that?

Uh... BECAUSE!
