I don't get it.
Regardless, I'll post a picture(seeing as the topic has been bumped anyway...)

Despite it's crudeness, I like it. I tried to keep the lines fairly clean but looking at it now I guess I didn't succeed^^;
BTW Saturnman, love the art, but is there some kind of story behind the Aladdin/Xbox thing, 'cause I'm baffled by it.

Nothing fancy. I already said I tend to draw people lately and this is the case here. There is this female Xbot in some of the forums I visit. Instead of just making her play the console and hug it or whatever, this is just another way to say she loves it. Spirit/Genie of Xbox, so to speak.Dash wrote: BTW Saturnman, love the art, but is there some kind of story behind the Aladdin/Xbox thing, 'cause I'm baffled by it.

Okay, so I've heard of this Opa-Ages from lurking on the Gaming Ages forum. Is it really as godawful as they say it is?Saturnman wrote:Cool. Not every one likes that drawing/coloring style of mine.
Typical drawings I do lately, mocking particular people and places, but it won't make much sense here:

It's basically GA without mods as it features many of the same members, including the GA mods. There still exists a feud between both forums so each bad-mouths the other.
Some put on an act, others reveal their true face. If you have a thick skin and an open mind, OA can be a fun place. Just like you can ignore the boring topics at GA, you can ignore the more extreme people at OA and just enjoy the show.
But with all that said, the forum is passed its prime. It was better a few years ago.

Just had a look at this topic for the first time and wow, I'm impressed. There are some talented artists here, I never knew. When I get it sorted I'll have to post some of my art. I've still a bit to go before I'll be up to scratch though.
The old-school Sonic art is ace though. I remember JessicaPadkin's last entry to a contest... a Heroes style Eggman 'team'. She also runs an Eggman fansite too if I'm not mistaken. Her entry in this recent contest is stunning. I'm also loving the Mecha Sonic... clean Illustrator style art is what I'm aiming for... might have to ask that dude for some tips.
