Serious fun?
Years and years ago I used to have an aquarium in which I was inadvertently breeding guppies. I didn't intend for it to happen (in fact, I understand that guppies are one of the more difficult tropical fishes to breed successfully), but I had a tank full of them that started with three or four, to the point that I was selling them for 75 cents a piece. One day, for no apparent reason, they started dying off. I couldn't control whatever disease was killing them, and soon the only fish remaining in the tank were a couple of hearty tetras and some pinkish angelfish-looking thing. I couldn't get any new fish to survive at all, and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the water. I let the tank fall into neglect and the remaining fish eventually died (of starvation, probably). The tank got put away, and it wasn't until years later that I started feeling guilt for the death of my neglected fish. A sign of old age, maybe, but I've been having alot of dreams about it lately, and I've been considering trying the aquarium thing again, because I really like fish, and I hate animals that make noise.
That, however, has absolutely nothing to do with the point of this topic. What I really want to know is about that Uo Nanatsu whatever fish game from Sega. I just found out that Natsume is supposed to release it here, like, tomorrow, which is great news to me because I've been wanting to play it, had no idea anyone was bringing it over, plus it'll be the first new game I've played in four months except for Lumines, and well... I want it and I need it. If anyone's played the Japanese version some impressions would be welcome, but really I'm just curious for news about the localization. Have they fucked up anything other than the title? I ask because I seem to remember reading that they were changing graphics for the US version of Chulip.

It has a long, cumbersome Japanese title that I don't feel like typing, but it translates to something along the lines of "Fish: the seven waters and masters" or something of the like. It's a sort of puzzle adventure game where you play a fish. It was developed by Sega (Sega Wow, I think), but published by Sony. I think it looks awesome, I've been wanting to play it.

Yeah, I played the demo. It was a blast, but the one annoying thing is after the tutorial levels, you have to constantly keep eating or the main character starves to death. It almost plays like a cross between Ecco but with the design aspects of a Mario game.
Anyways, in the US, it's being called "Finny the Fish" . . .
Yeah. Ugh.

I absolutely refuse to call it that. I won't even type it. That's the main reason I'm trying to find info on the localization, I want to make sure Natsume's damage ends there.Anyways, in the US, it's being called "Finny the Fish" . . .
Or is there even much of a language barrier in the first place?

That usually happens around here with the movies. Here's an example, that movie, "Bring it On", is called "Teenagers: As Apimentadas". I mean, if it was only called "As Apimentadas" (it would be something like "Spiced" or even "Spice Girls" in english) I would understand, but they ensured that the title of the movie, in portuguese, had an english word that wasn't even in the original title!
Brazilian Cara probably understands what I'm talking about.

Sorry to resurrect a nearly year-old topic, but I bought this game just now because GameStop.com has it for only $10.

Did anyone end up getting this game or is it just me?

I ended up buying it back then.
It's a good game in the same way that Disaster Report and Mr. Mosquito are good games - unique idea and charming design despite clunky broken mechanics. The second stage is rather bullshit, but the jungle and cave stages are swell. I think they were running out of ideas by the harbor level.
It's short and clunky, but honest. Certainly worth an Alexander Hamilton, anyway.
