Since humanity does not live on drano cookies alone; anybody have some good (or weird) favorite recipes or such? To start I have this vague potato and beet skillet: beets, potatoes, garlic, hot peppers and spices sauteed in olive oil.is great! I like beet greens or swiss chard or whatever in it too.
As for weird; corn chips with peanut butter and bread and butter pickles
Your mileage may vary; potato salad but you pickle the boiled potatoes in dill pickle brine overnight before making the potato salad.
If you like fish ( works for chicken or just the vegetables)
Get yourself:
Juice of one each lemon, lime and orange (more or less of each to taste)
5 or as any fresh garlic cloves as you like
fresh ginger root to match garlic, or as you like
5 tbsp olive (or avacado or canola) oil or as you like
BLEND
Put fish or chicken, brocolli and cauliflower in a skillet with your citrus stuff(and whatever salt and seasonings float your boat) and cook until veggies and fish are cooked (put a lid over for a more steamed approach) this can also be oven baked.
Also ripe lime slices dipped in blue cheese dressing.

Did Balan wonderworld kill everyone? or is the fact that a recipe thread exists on this once wild and lawless frontier a burdensome reflection on the mortality of Humanity?
"Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot."
If you mix different breakfast cereals together that counts as a recipe.
