One of my classmates in college never used the Shift key. He actually tapped Caps Lock, tapped the one letter he needed to capitalize, then tapped Caps Lock off. I was flabbergasted that this individual had graduated high school.

My keyboard actually doesn't let me use the right Shift key. For some reason it assumes that pressing it once is the same as holding it down forever, or at least until I press it a couple of dozen times more.
I like the quotation marks around "Weekly".

I actually forgot there was a right shift key and was confused as to why it was an option until I actually looked at my keyboard.

I have to deliberately push down the right Shift key and then deliberately poke the intended letter with my left index finger.
I'm kind of surprised this isn't a legally-recognized disability.

Did this classmate per chance have boobs? I've seen that there's some sort of correlation between the two.
I actually voted left, but since I'm such a tool, only realised I actually use the right shift key when typing out this reply.
I feel weird, guys.

Left. I never even notice the right one's existence.

Here's an interesting question, though. See all those weird symbols on the right side of your number keys? How do you type those out? Alt Gr or Ctrl+Alt?

I use both instinctively without really thinking about it. Although I think I tend to use the right one more often, I dunno.

Uh, let's see, -/_, =/+, Backspace, Insert, Home, PageUp, NumLock, /, *, -, and then I reach the end of the keyboard.
...what was your question again?

The symbols one the right side of each number key. I guess you americans don't have them.
You can type them with either Alt Gr or Ctrl+Alt. I always used Ctrl+Alt for some reason.

What is "Gr?"

Assuming you mean the number keys at the top and not the numpad (which has no symbols, but if you hold Alt and type in certain numbers with them you get fancy symbols~♫☺♥♦♣♠™©), the only symbols you get are by holding Shift, and they are, from 1-9 and then 0 last (since that's how they're laid out for some reason): "!@#$%^&*()". And that's it. Ctrl-Alt plus any number key yields nothing.

Also I did not even know Ctrl+Alt worked for this as well, I always just used Alt Gr.

Hence why I was interested to see if there was someone as quirky as me.

Right Shift key here.
Answering Neo's question, I use Alt Gr (the symbols I have are \|@#~€¬, plus those on the keys left to the Enter key). Didn't even know the Ctrl+Alt combination produced the same effect.

Idiot here (you knew this without me telling you), I only use Shift for punctuation. I much prefer the ALT key, how else would I make my favorite face in the world? ¬_¬

I have been using computers since 1989, and I am really used to the left one... by the way, I am left handed...

I like the left too, but the right is the only one that seems to work.

Thats because you have a bad configuration for your keyboard, it works in all my computers, even the laptop...
