I once killed one and held it in my hand, then I threw it on my classmate

I'll admit to being startled by a flying cockroach (the damn thing flew right at my face ), but that's about it. They certainly are unpleasant, though.
And I don't know about you, but I would much prefer playing Shadow or Sonic Sk6 to munching on a roach (with our without ketchup). Playing a poorly programmed game or munching on a roach teeming with filth... hmmm... choices...

People from under-developed countries seem to enjoy eating various arthropods. I knew one guy who said chocolate covered crickets were delicious.

They like the chocolate, not the crickets, the same goes for chocolate covered ants.

Because they want to say they ate bugs, but they really ate chocolate with a bit of bugs.

Ugh. I saw this program last night regarding the culinary delights of certain ethnic groups in Asia and beating frog hearts are one of their main dining choices.

Huge swathes of Asia eat dogs. At the same time, many of the same societies consider pigs to be dirty animals and find the thought of eating them revolting.
I think the moral of the story is that we should just eat absolutely everything, in as huge quantities as possible.

I can't imagine not eating pork. It seriously is the best kind of meat. Bacon, pork burritos, it doesnt get much better than pork.

So true. I know a bunch of Jews, and only one keeps kosher. I really think you have to have never had pig in your life to fathom living without it.
