Overdrive Ostrich was the greatest reploid ever. I mean, he bounds across the stage in 5 steps and he's all "Whoooop whoop whoop whoopwhoopwhoop" and then BAM he punts you in the back of the head to the other side of the screen and you die oh man that was so awesome

He was the only worthwhile part of MMX2, though.

Looks like Overdrive Ostrich has some fans after all...I thought I was the only one.

MMX2 was pretty good in all. Great music, good backgrounds, good mechanics, etc. Not as good as X, but hey.

It was certainly one of the better ones in that game, but I'd say I prefer Overdrive Ostrich, Bubble Crab and Morph Moth a bit more. Shame the music in that game wasn't as hot as its predecessor or successor (although I'd say it's more playable than X3 - they really beat you around the head with upgrades in that game, which is probably why X4 is so simplistic in comparison).
