What?

GG!, you were pretty bored when you did all of this, huh?

It was a pretty tough choice between Pengo, Tails doll and Popcorn's mom, but she won my vote in the end, anyway.

I am currently unemployed and have consigned myself to a minimum of 8 hours of drawing per day in an effort to beef up my portfolio, and this just kind of happened out of that.

In reality, I usually manage about 5.

That is pretty damn good, 5 hours a day that is. Don't you work at Best Buy?

No way, I ditched Hell Hall like a month ago.

Best Buy hasn't called me back. Nobody has. Why doesn't anybody want to hire me?! *sniff* Fuck you to, Radioshack.

Don't Best Buy, Radioshack, Media Play, etc all pay on commission? That sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

Best Buy doesn't, and I kind of doubt the other two do.

Radioshack DOES pay on commission. I dunno about Media Play.

But dude, don't get a commission job unless you at least somewhat enjoy whatever the job is. At least on hourly wages if you hate the job you can do fuck all when the manager isn't around and still get paid.

I know for a fact Media Play does pay on commission because I applied there once, and I always thought Best Buy did, but I guess it doesn't.

I thought Media Play was only in this part of the country. I've never really seen them anywhere else. Either way I really hate them and their prices. I totally fucked them though when my GameCube broke so it's all good.

How can Radio Shack pay on commission?

The only places I've ever seen that pay on commission are furniture stores and a couple of metro clothing stores.

It's strange, because people who want to work at Radio Shack have no charisma, and the rest all were rejected by other places, so they have no experience, or are terribly strung out.

I downright loathe businesses that pay on commission. No one ever leaves you alone. As soon as you walk in until the moment you leave, someone is nipping at your heels begging you to let them help you. "Did you find everything okay? Have you heard about this deal? Ah, I see you're buying a DVD. Would you like a DVD rack? How about a gun rack? A porno?"

Fucking hell, you dirty people! Just let me be.

That may or may not have to do with commission. Businesses that don't pay on commission force employees to push certain things under threat of their jobs.

Would you like a Game Informer with that?

Maybe, but I haven't personally noticed it even nearly as much at places that don't pay on commission.

Best Buy is awful for that. Is that why you mistook them for a commission store?

I've never had annoying employees at Best Buy. If I get asked if I "need help" I just say nope. One time some worker actually talked to me about some game, but he wasn't pushing anything.

He probably got written up for it afterwards.

Yeah. Considering it more, I guess most electronic appliance stores, commission or not, have annoying workers (or rather, workers that are forced to be annoying). I just prefer not to be bothered when I shop, I just want to go in and get what I came for and then go. I don't mind the occasional "Can I help you?" but really, no means no. Fucking retail rapists.

And so, hence the question, "Would you rape for your christmas bonus?"

The entire media department got written up while I was there.

I've never had a Best Buy guy push anything on me. In fact one guy was really helpful, I wanted an Xbox game and for some reason he knew where the last copy was hidden. I think his fellow worker was hiding it for later.

The cashiers at Best Buy are horrible though. They always offer a free magazine subscription.

What do they write up employees for? And what does that mean? Do you get fined for being crappy corporate slaves?
