An update of the 1978 arcade classic, SeeSaw Jump 2005 challenges players to burst balloons by catapulting their acrobatic partner.

Sega Japan have added a product information page for Phantasy Star Universe. Most of the story and character information has been recycled from the main PSU website, but as the page doesn’t use Flash it is much easier to access with a translator.

Did SeeSaw Jump inspire Bubble Bobble and its numerous variations?

The original arcade game was called Circus and released in 1977 by a long-gone company called Exidy. There was an Atari 2600 port, and I think it may also have been released on a couple of computer systems. Midway released a rip-off called Clowns the year after.

It's really nothing at all like Bubble Bobble.
