Sega Game Jam 2005 was held over the weekend at the Tokyo Fashion Town. Sega virtually ignored their iconic mascot with Sonic Mega Collection Plus being the only Sonic item on display. Kimishine was absent from the show even though it isn’t that much older than the Sonic compilation, although the various hand held incarnations of Puyo Puyo Fever made an appearance. The majority of special events focused on non-Sonic Team titles such as Virtua Fighter 4.

Reports on the event can be found by clicking here, here and here, although it’s probably not worth the effort as none of the articles contain any Sonic-related references.
Derelict City

The second issue of Sega City, Sega Europe’s ‘insiders only’ online magazine, has now been released, although the content isn’t up to the standard of the launch issue.
The Sonic Team related items include a set of Kimishine icons, a competition to win a copy of the game with a DS console and a downloadable movie of the Sonic retrospect that was shown ‘Walk of Game’, which is identical to the one included in the recently released Shadow the Hedgehog trailer.
Black & White Burst

Two new digital manuals have been added to the official Japanese PSO Episode IV Blue Burst website. The first is an updated version of the game manual that was released last year, while the second comprehensively details the keyboard functions.
Unlike the Sonic Japanese manuals, these are only worth downloading for completists, as both manuals are in black and white and contain very little artwork.
