Saturn Celebration
:FJ: NiGHTS and Burning Rangers on Saturn history collection

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Saturn, Sega Japan and Wavemaster have teamed up to release a CD and DVD memento called Sega Saturn History.

The CD, titled Vocal Collection, contains 14 tracks including 'Burning Hearts' from Burning Rangers and the kids version of 'Dreams Dreams' from NiGHTS. A feature by Segata Sanshiro, the star of Sega's Japanese Saturn commercials, is also included.

The Visual Collection Vol. 1 DVD compromises of the openings and endings of 16 games, including Christmas NiGHTS.

Both items will be available in Japan from March 24th.

Pretty cool. A shame though that I doubt this will be released in the west, considering how badly the Saturn tanked.

Segata Sanshiro and Saturn-head guy there should team up to take back the night.

EDIT: Actually, it seems like all the audience members have Saturn-heads. They're like the Sega private army. The Sato Youth, if you will.

Segata Sanshiro was awesome. Too bad he nobly died saving SEGA itself. *sniff*.

And now it seems that his death was almost done in vain.

I say almost because the Dreamcast happened.

Because the world's first online games console with a shit-ton of kickass and underrated titles is better than a crusty old Japanese guy getting hit with ping pong balls. Or something to that effect, I'm sure.

Well, I know the Dreamcast kicks ass, I guess I wasn't too keen on the death of Segata himself.
