Both Sonic Adventure DX and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg are to be re-released in Japan under the “Sega the Bestâ€￾ label on the 18th of November.

Sega the Best is the Japanese equivalent of Nintendo’s Players Choice offering the best selling titles of last year at a reduced price.

Previous Sonic Team releases under the label include Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and the first two Advance games.

Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Pinball Party have yet to be re-released as 'inexpensive versions', which may be a possible indication of their lacklustre sales performance.

That and Pinball Party was a Target exclusive on this side of the pond *great idea, make it exclusive to one store so those who want it have to go out of their way to get it); I think must have had similar status in Japan.

Things like that make me want to buy games later. Dur.

Only at target? I didn't realize it until now, but thats the only place I've seen that game...
