Sonic Rush trademark
Mysterious new Sonic title appears on US patent website
Sega have filed a patent for the name ‘Sonic Rush’. Unlike their recent registration for Sonic Gems Collection, a logo does not accompany the application. Nothing else is known about the title, but it is most likely to make an appearance at the upcoming E3.

Sega Japan have added 20 new images to the screenshot section of the official Phantasy Star Universe website.

God, and we're moving to a new house this week too. I just hope everything will be re-connected by May 17th - no way i'm going to miss out on all this.

Seeing this US patent thing reminds me of something. Does Sega pre-announce their games on the Japanese stock market? I mean, aren't they supposed to announce their planned releases a year in advance to let their sponsors/shareholders know their plans? Not in much detail, of course, but still.

I seem to think that Sonic Rush is a title that goes well with that crappy Sonic DS demo thingy at last E3.

Sonic Rush, huh? I can already see the script to that one.

Sonic (Drummond style): Can't stop now, we're on a Sonic Rush! Yeah!!

I'm guessing Sonic Rush will probably turn out to be the rumored PSP game.

Or the DS game.

Shadow not going portable is a good thing, trust me the immense amount of angst would blow up such a small thing.

Sonic Rush sounds suspiciously like another cell phone game. :/

Yeah, I did say that. Either the title is really obvious or my vision of Popcorn meeting his end by being sodomized with venomous snakes after misinterpreting the request of a small, suspicious looking Turkish man will soon come to pass.

Although I still think it's a cool title, likely to go to waste very quickly.

I hope so but I doubt the game will be good looking back at Sega's "success" with Sonic recently. I'm guessing it will be another game that sucks.

Not to mention that the portable world is currently resembling the Saturn/Playstation/Nintendo 64 era
