In every level you meet one of the Sonic Heroes characters (Except Big).
So, does that mean that the Chaotix are in it?

Hang on. "Doom's Eye"? Did I miss something important?
Yes. You'll see Doom's Eye at SONICTEAM's Shadow website. He's that black, tentacled red eye that floats around and stuff. He's also in some of the E3 gameplay videos.
So, does that mean that the Chaotix are in it?
Iizuka did mention Chaotix's presence in that Nintendo Power magazine. As much as I am happy for Espio and Vector's presence, I hear Charmy is in the game too. Another character to defeat the dark mood of the game. Again, don't do hero missions.

I just took a good look at Black Doom. I never realized how retarded he looks before. What the hell is all that crap he's wearing? Are those little brown flaps his legs, or is he a wisp? And that art style...it doesn't match anything else. It's like they ripped him from Neverwinter Nights. He doesn't even look like an alien. With no legs and all that runic jewelry, he's more like a demon.

New Shadow Trailer

The cheesiness gave me a good laugh, but all the laughter ended when Eggman shouted "Charge!". I'm certain that that was his Sonic X dub voice.

Let it be known that we miss Deem Bistrow immensely:(

The CGI looked pretty good.

That was hilarious. They even got an Akira-style explosion in there.

It's just so weird. The art direction for the cut scenes and the art direction in game are at complete odds with one another.

I like how Shadow cocks his submachine gun as if it were a pumpgun when it obviously isn't.

Kidding aside I will admit that I am interested in the story. I do want to know about Shadow's past so the debate of whether or not he is the ULF can be put to rest. That said, I have no desire to play this game, so I'm counting on one of you guys to tell me what happens!

esrever is right. The cutscenes look at if they dont belong in this game at all.

People are always cocking improbable guns in films! Everyone just loves that sound as much as possible. As far as I'm concerned, people should have to cock their knives as well.

There's one thing this trailer should be commended for, and that's the direction and dialogue of the FMV. I mean, it's stupid trash-- SMG-cocking and all-- but it actually seems to have production values and lines written by someone who knows how to speak English, which we haven't really seen a lot of until now. "See what the humans did to you", for example, is quite a sophisticated bit of writing for Sonic the fucking Hedgehog.

That trailer was amazing in a so-bad-it's-good kind of way. Wouldn't it be awesome if the entire game was a tongue in cheek parody of action films?

As if sonic team could think of something as complicated as that.

I was filled with glee when I saw that trailer. Okay, so the announcer was a little cliche, but so the Hell what. Everything else rocked. The character voices, the GCI, the gameplay graphics, the music, that movie-theater vibe you would get when seeing a trailer like this, everything.

What? I like being easy to please!

In Resident Evil 2: Director's Cut, when you use the ammo cheat, all of your weapons have unlimited ammo -- including the knife.

I rather like how the characters follow you during missions. Though, it'll seem a bit awkward in some instances. (i.e, Cream)

Hey, fury could work for Charmy. Look at how it worked for Fawful.

Shadow the Hedgehog will take place at a time of great uncertainty and inner conflict in Charmy's life. Basically, he's going to be very homophobic.
