Hee hee. It does look overly stupid. But watch the video, man. It's looking more and more like the speed stages of Sonic Adventure 2 as oppose to Sonic Heroes with guns. The Chaos Control also has a cool "fwhoosh" sound effect to it.
Looks like a Milkor MGL Mark 1.

Quake has better looking guns than that.

Esrever's right, as far as I know. From what I've heard, producers can be a total bitch to work with because a lot of times they think they've got directorial powers.

Shadow, If you can do the spindash, why do you have a gun?

He used the somersault slide in the multiplayer movie, but I don't think I've seen him use spin dash yet.

Shadow does Spindash in this game. I saw it in one of those old gameplay videos someone filmed at E3. Also, the Somersault has been replaced with more of a slide-kick.

There! I found one thing I like about this game.

ONLY one thing.
Speaking of which, am I the only one here who's played Skullmonkeys? Utter perfection.

I liked Skullmonkeys.

I wouldn't call it perfection, but probably one of the most enjoyable and concentrated platforming romps I've ever been on. I didn't leave my house for two days.

I loved the tunes in the game, especially the rocking Ynt Garden music and the bonus room tunes.

Same. I was rather desperate for the soundtrack, but I was unable to obtain it illegally, and I just can't be bothered to buy stuff over the internet. So after about a month of begging people to buy the stuff for me (The tracks were being sold seperately on some Russian site at prices as high as 15 cents), It turns out that I could have simply ripped the music from the game right from the start. A rather harsh kick in the nuts.

Anyway, yeah. If you want the music, just ask, and I'll gladly send it.

EDIT: Screw that, just download it here. Not sure how long the file will stay up, though.

How can it be a bother to buy something over the internet? It's probably the most effortless way you could possibly hope to part with your money, The only way that requires even less action is by being robbed, and you don't get anything in exchange for it.

That aside, it's really remarkable that the Neverhood/Skullmonkeys soundtrack has stayed in print as long as it has. They even keep adding more stuff to it with each printing....

Also, the Somersault has been replaced with more of a slide-kick.
The slide kick is part of the somersault. Originally Shadow or Sonic would do two somersaults followed by the sliding kick. If they were running then the two somersaults would be followed with a right hook. This was pretty cool as Sonic could literally punch cars off the street.

Yes, shopping over the internet is more convenient in the long run. But in order to do so, I'd need a credit card, and I'd have to go through a whole bunch of crap to get that to work out.

Sorry to crush your spirits about this game more than they already have been, but I had a conversation with the guy who went to the Germen game expo thingy, and he gave me some great new info. Read.
In every level you meet one of the Sonic Heroes characters (Except Big). I'm not sure if Omega is also there. They are giving you the hero missions (e.g. Help Amy to find Cream and Cheese). And there's Eggman or Dooms Eye whos giving you the dark missons.
The main problem is, every Sonic game and Sonic-related thing Cream has been associated with sucks. She's been in Sonic Advance 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Battle, Sonic Advance 3, Sonic Pinball Party, and she went far enough to ruin Sonic X. Do you know what this means? Cream's presence in Shadow the Hedgehog increases the game's chance to suck.

Even an optimistic Sonic fan like myself cannot take this any longer. The very next second after I heard of Cream's whereabouts in Shadow the Hedgehog, I hear about Sonic Riders. At least I still have some hope for Sonic Next.

EDIT: I'm sorry, I spoke out of emotion. I didn't realize only doing the hero missions lead to Cream. I'll just do the neutral and dark missions. Sonic Riders doesn't sound too bad either. This is the experimental era after all.
