I always thought she looked stereotypically Asian to the point of caricature. I hate it.

Yeah I've always assumed she was designed by non-asians to appeal to, non-asians. Also hate it.

None of those buildings have textures, so she is not missing much with 5% eye sight.

I also hope no one is implying that Sonic should be like a game where women run around on roof tops instead of cleaning our clothes.

I have decided to interpret this literally. You have offended my sensibilities, sir.

But women don't run on rooftops. I think.

Do they?

Not if you flip them over so they cook evenly.

So, hmm....

I think I am done with the series. It had a good run, kind of.

So, have you beaten Segasonic in hard mode without cheating? Only then you can say you are done with Sonic!

I'm pretty sure playing an already mediocre game in super bullshit mode isn't that much of an incentive.

More Egg Pawns. Is it folly to expect any decent enemies in this game?

Remember when our problem was that Eggman wasn't the villain? Look how far we've come!

So does anyone else think the burgers are stupid?

The 'story book team' is entirely untalented when it comes to knowing how to make a Sonic game. This seems like a simplistic Unleashed for toddlers.

The gameplay description of it 'feeling on rails' and 'being too easy' makes it seem like garbage. With all the recent remakes of retro games lately, I do not think they have any excuses left. Just look at cheap projects like Earthworm Jim HD compared to anything Sonic.

Yeah, the burgers are stupid, but I still like them. In fact, I like them more because they're stupid. It all makes absolutely no sense. Brilliant.

Also, mesoamerican ruins... IN SPACE. That's like my two favourite things.

So your solution to shallow Sonic games is shallow remakes.

I think the food level is sorry too, but no.

So you are saying a shallow remake would be worse than what we get now?

I just find it annoying that some mobile phone developer can do a better job with barely any resources compared to hundreds of people with millions of dollars and high end equipment to use. Earthworm Jim is better than any of the new Sonic games, so is Rocket Knight, so is anything M2 made on Wiiware, so are games made by Backbone even. It is pathetic to be worse than all of this considering the developers/resources.

I really just cannot see how I could possibly enjoy Sonic Colours. All you do is hold boost like the half-assed levels in Sonic Unleashed, except now it is on a shittier console and uses worse controls, plus the scenery looks stupid.

But anyway, yes, shallow remakes are better. They would still be fun and at the very least look/sound mostly right. That is something, compared to this nothing.

Are we ignoring all the gameplay descriptions, information, and screenshots from E3?

We must be, because last I heard the Boost is but one of many available power-ups. There's been NOTHING to indicate what the levels play like or how heavily the boost is featured, nor has there been enough of a description of the controls to even mark them as "shitty".

And if you think the scenery looks "stupid" I'm surprised you're even a Sonic fan at all. The fuck do you WANT outta this series?

It's not even really a food level. James Pond 2 had food levels. This is a theme park level with a food theme. It's not supposed to represent an actual giant burger, it's a giant burger shaped construct on a theme park ride. The verisimilitude of such a place existing in Sonic's world is intact.
