Riders soundtrack announced
OST to feature 3 bonus tracks
Sega have announced that the official soundtrack for Sonic Riders will be released in Japan on March 16.
The line up of 21 songs includes 3 tracks that are exclusive to the disc. As with previous OST Sonic releases, the CD will only be available from Sega’s online store, Sega Direct.
PSU delayed again
Japanese release is pushed back
The Japanese release of Phantasy Star Universe has been delayed for a second time. The game was supposed to be released on March 30th after being pushed back from its original release date of February 16th.
Speaking to Watch Impress, a Sega representative stated that the delay is “unavoidableâ€￾ and is necessary for “further improvement in the quality and stability of the on-line functionâ€￾.
Sega of Japan is currently unable to provide a new release date. However, the game will still be released before the end of the year.
It is unclear if this delay will effect the Western release, which was also has an imprecise release date of ‘autumn 2006’.

I'm torn about this too. On the one side I am happy seeing as I own a 360, but on the other side I swore off that type of game forever. I logged like 1000 hours on the Xbox version of PSO, then like 65 days on WoW, so I'm not sure if I really want to play another game like that.
I think it was a smart decision by Sega to release it on the 360 though, a subscription based game for the PS2 this late in its life almost seems like a waste of a game.

I didn't really think about your post after looking at it, but I suppose that was what you were inferring to. Many apologies. That would have been an opportune time for a soul-crushing insult.
In other news, I <3 the PSU theme song. Damn it all. Sonic Team gets me with cheesy rock every fucking time.

I really can't stand the PSU theme song, even in comparison to PSO EpI&II's (which were cheesy, but at least they sounded pretty decent). The lyrics just sound like somebody threw some words together and then just stuffed them on top of the music. It doesn't flow at all and feels abrasive to my ears.
