So yeah. I won't be here (by here I mean my house and also the fine GHZ messageboard) because I'll be in New York City. Just letting you know in case you get panicky and call up a search party or something.
See y'all next week, motherfuckers!

Your name's Josh?
Oh, and while you're in the land of the awesome you should visit every GHZ member here.

Well, I would, but I have only 3 actual free days and limited spending money for transportation. Unless some of you want to meet me at South Street Seaport and get some lunch or something, I doubt I'll be meeting any of you in person. Sorry 'bout that, kids.
And yes, my name is Josh. I would think of a wackier name if it was simply an elaborate ruse.

Huh. I always thought your name was "James".
Anyways, we'll miss you. At least Del and I will.

I'm touched. :)
But where the hell did you get "James" from?

I dunno. Personally, I had you pinned as 'Jaques', and you were going to reveal that you were a French refugee.

This isn't the first time he's referenced his first name on this board, and I'm not even one of his stalkers.

I think "James" is Popcorn's real name.

STOP COPYING MY NAME SIGNATURE! THAT'S MINE!
But in all seriousness, have fun at New York (that's pretty damn close to where I am, although I'd have to drive 3 hours to get there). Have fun. Send back lots of postcards.

At first glance, my brain read "Like the dessert misses the strain" and I was confused.

Cold, but friendly.
Shall I elaborate?

If you feel the need to.

So do people in New York really have ridiculous accents?
Posted: Mon Mar 07, 2005 6:20 pm
by j-man
No, actually. We met a graffiti writer in Times Square and he had the stereotypical Brooklyn accent, but most people's were rather toned down. It was so multiracial though, I think that only like 20% of all the people I met actually had any sort of American accent at all.
