What I find more disturbing (since I'm used to retarded people writing retarded bashing articles) is the fact that CLANK is beating ROBIN and BLOB (from A Boy and His Blob, I'm guessing) for "best sidekick". But, it's G4. Anything found there is guaranteed to be stupid.

Well, Clank does have a better character design and a more interesting personality than fucking Ratchet. I hate that thing. Whatever the fuck it is.

Robin's a pretty horrible sidekick when you come right down to it and really think about it. He's a teenage Batman without the brains.

And Blob is more of a co-star than a sidekick.

"Kitsune" is just Japanese for fox. And that includes the non-mythical, single tailed variety.

Tails was never stated to be a kitsune. He was only stated to be a fox. He's not even a sidekick in the first damn place. I don't really notice that. Sonic and Tails tend to hang together between adventures. Amy forces themselves into their group ocasionally. And Cream is usually with Amy.

Everyone else has their seperate lives, though.

I just think that Sonic likes to take a helluva lot of vacations in between adventures. Since, you know - he can RUN to Tahiti and back within a couple of days.

I'm more disturbed by the fact that the majority of the characters on the 'Best Sidekick' poll are furries.

As if his voice in the American version wasn’t annoying enough, the Japanese version is un-listenable.

And I also manage to see the Worst 10 Ten sidekicks. What the hell were they thinking putting Luigi in 2nd place, let alone in that list at all?

Because (if it was Filter), it's a poll. By G4 forum-goers. Which should explain a lot, because as terrible as G4's programs are, their main viewer audience is even stupider.

Maybe it was a joke? The reasons the author cited were sort of off the wall.

That's an awesome quote. Except for that last part, since a lot of games are fun since they escape reality. But that's exactly how Shenmue should be, and what makes it so fun and unique.
