I saw that earlier today. It's just too bizarre.

You know, I never realized how dirty the lyric, "Come together, right now, over me" sounded out of context. Yeah. I hate me too.

I never realized how the rest of the lyrics make so little sense.

That's true. However, the last thing I want to associate bukkake with is The Beatles, so I'm going to do my damndest to forget that your post exists.

Hello and welcome to Beatles music.

I was never a fan. What's so great about them anyway?

I guess it's an acquired taste. I really like 'em, though.

The music they made while they weren't under the influence of, oh, EVERYTHING, is pretty decent.

It's better not to try to think about this era of the Beatles songs... Also since this is a Lennon song it isn't made to make any sense, he liked to fuck with people at this point... I find all there songs good, but you have to look at different parts depending on what they were into or doing at the time... And don't put past the whole "Come together, right now, over me" line of thinking past these guys, they were into some sick sex acts in the day... And if you want fucked music try some Frank Zappa, and this guy was sober most of the time...

As for little in jokes, they did have a lot of those in their songs. It's fairly well known, but about halfway through "Girl" -http://avconvert.com/MP3/the_beatles--girl040328.mp3 - George and Paul can be heard saying "Tit" over and over again in the background.

Pretty tame by today's standards, but it was recorded during the early sixties.

s'alright. Most of the animation, though, there's this program called.. I dunno, Swift or something like that, lets you import 3D models into flash to and fake their animation. The twisty bendy effects, though, those are nice, indeed.

Never was fond of this song, though.

The Beatles have the same problem as anything that is tremendously influential. We're so familiar with the music influenced by the Beatles that the original stuff can seem kind of... well... overrated. It's hard to roll your mind back to a time when their stuff would have sounded completely unlike anything you had ever heard before.

The Beatles > you. They only got good after they started getting high imo. Anyone who denies "A Life In A Day" as the greatest song ever is an idiot.

It's a good flash, IMO, no doubt.

Anyway, plasticwingsband (I'm probably the only one who "got" your username the first time I saw it), I'm a huge Beatard as well.

Those of you that don't like the Beatles music probably haven't listened to much of it. If you have and you still don't like it... well... I can only pity you, then. We'll never see eye-to-eye on music, at least. Resume listening to remixes of video game music.

Riiiight, because there are only two types of music in the world: Beatles music and vgame mixes.

I'm not a huge Beatles fan or anything, I just grew up with parents who were both hippies. I thought the point of the song, "come together," meant that everyone was so disgusted or amazed or shocked or whatever by this filthy hippy-guy and everyone comes together over him as a kind of cultural phenomenon, everyone is talking about him or wanting to kill him or whatever. The rest of the lyrics are spent describing this freakshow, so they don't need to make any more sense than that. You don't need to know what toejam football is (do you WANT to?) you just need to know he's got it.

That's what I thought, anyway.

I really like reggae and ska music, which I discovered from Samba de Amigo. The Jamaican sound is entrancing.

In case you wanted to know, it was originally written as sort of a campaign song for a friend of Lennon's. When his friend decided not to run for whatever it was (governor or something? I don't remember), they decided to use it themselves.

So, yeah, you're more or less right, I guess.

Gah, sorry about the obvious glaring error. I must be either incredibly stupid or just high...

...

And I can assure you now, I am NOT high.

No, he means Swift 3D. SWiSH is that stupid Flash imitation program that includes a bunch of annoying effects and crap for people that don't know how to use real Flash. Swift 3D lets you create imitation three-dimensional vectors out of real three-dimensional models for use in Flash.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I generally am not a big Beatles fan, but that was absolutely brilliant. The guy that made that video is obviously quite talented.
