Sonic the Fighters & NiGHTS OST torrents

Post by Spazz »

I'm thinking about making torrents for the NiGHTS and Sonic the Fighters OSTs. I remember awhile back a few people on this board mentioning they wish they had the music. If I get enough requests here, I'll go ahead and upload them.

By all means. Try to do a reasonably high-quality encoding of the NiGHTS disc, please. The only version I've found in the past is at a measly 128kbps.

I went into a sparring match for my NiGHTS Into Dreams OST. So, odds are, I probably already have the other soundtracks.

Lemme guess, you got it from Sonic Stuff?

Oh Bray, I rip all my music in very high quality and in the same format of mp3.

I can do that with the Sonic the Fighters OST, but like Segata, I downloaded the NiGHTS OST from somewhere else. I could reformat them to 320kbps, but I doubt that would do much.

Honestly, I don't even remember.

I'm confused. Weren't you the one who spent an ungodly amount of money on the NiGHTS OST from eBay?

Edit: Nevermind about the second part. So you only have the NiGHTS OST at the same bitrate I already have it at?

I didn't buy the NiGHTS OST, someone started a thread showing an auction for it at something like $120. Someone did comment on me buying the Sonic the Fighters OST, but it was nowhere near that much.

Again, Durr. Besides, VBR is more "error-prone."
Btw, you can have exellent quality with 128kbps and it can sound just as good as music ripped in high quality VBR or 320kbps, it all depends on how you rip it.

--aps VBR is the best sound quality you can get out of mp3s with a decent filesize.

Why would you EVER want to listen to anything from NiGHTS without the game in the background to distract you? The few times I've heard "Dreams, Dreams" at the end of the game made me sick! I believe there is a form of tourture practiced in some Communist countries where they force the victum (sp?) to listen to that high pitched, concentrated evil, Clockwork Orange style.

You're in luck, I just discovered that the rip I have is actually 160kbps. Also, it's not the actual OST, it's a full rip of the entire music selection from the game. Oops.

Yeah, I guess it IS best you leave out all the juicy bits. Y'know, for the sake of the other guys' innocence.
