Hey. Long time lurker, first time poster. Just in case you cared. Anyway, check this out:

http://jamesseph.phpwebhosting.com/user ... sx_rel.zip

It's part of this Sonic X-treme reengineering project, and it looks pretty impressive so far. If this is finished, Sonic X-treme may finally be completed!

Keys:
F1-switch between level and boss engine
F2-turns of chrome on Metal Sonic model
Q-Metal Sonic goes -1 on X axis
E-Metal Sonic does +1 on X axis
A-Metal Sonic goes -1 on Z axis
S-Metal Sonic goes +1 on Z axis
Z-Sonic does spinball

Enjoy.

Pretty old but still neat. I've even made a few textures for that game.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

This phrase and all those related to it should be banned from the internet. No offence to you, but I've seen this sentence 83456765456 times just this morning. This needs to stop.

I'll get my internet lawyer on it right away.

I think we already had a topic with this name.

No, the other one had a period at the end.

I think you were the only one who noticed it.

No, the other one had the "I" in "interesting" capitalized.

Incidentally, neither thread lived up to it's billing.

If this file actually worked, I'm sure I'd think it to be the cat's pajamas, except my computer the screen only shows the debug score/time/rings count, a life count, and some green cubes. And I can't control it.

Unless it's supposed to be like that...

Truth be told, I was actually thinking of doing this myself -- it's nice to see, however, that someone who actually knows how to hack roms is doing it (I guess I can still make a side-scrolling version of that old Tiger Electronic Hand-Held game...). I hope this doesn't offend you, but did you know about the Sonic sprites being used in "Sonic's Game World"? I'm sure you did, but humor me, please.

I just have to wonder what Mike Wallis and Chris Senn think about it; maybe BlazeHedgehog can send them copies for approval? I know BH used to post at the old GHZ M.B., and I've been meaning to drop him a line, so I'll remember to mention it to him.

Cool.

Don't mind Del, Ritz, she's always like this. Sarcasm is her blood, mockery her flesh and bitterness her bones. Also, her penis is made of the souls of the damned.

Or so I hear.

Okay, so more than one of us is sarcastic, mocking, and bitter.

Um...

Okay, yeah, we're pretty much all sarcastic, mocking, and bitter.

I dunno, I think this is interesting (I don't remember the other one).

I guess amazing people have higher standards for interest than the rest of us.

Don't worry, Ritz, they treat everyone like this at first. Unfortunately, it doesn't improve much after they get to know you.

NICE!!!!!! I've been researching X-treme for awhile and this is the best thing yet! I bet someone could get a working version out from this in about a year!

You're a poet and nobody told you up until this moment unless I am mistaken!

The irony, though intentional, is delicious.
