2005 is Gonna Suck

Post by firemario1001 »

While anticipating the next great hollywood butchering of another videogame-movie adaptation that will be the Doom Movie, we Sonic fans also have to look forward to watching- MORE EPISODES OF SONIC X ...

I guess you should take a gander into this thread

http://sonikku.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=36670

Be careful though. That forum is the breeding ground for the nastiest looking Sonic newbies you ever did see.

The Doom Movie's still going to suck though. No hell, no demons, no mars, and one of the human's names is Pinky...

A few reasons 2005 will rock your socks:

Batman Begins
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
War of the Worlds
Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny
Sin City

There's a lot of other good flicks coming out next year, those are just off the top of my head.

Star Wars Episode III also comes out next year and it's probably going to suck, but mostly everyone will probably see it anyway just cause...

Some other reasons 2005 will be great:

~~Final Fantasy XII

~~Dragon Warrior VIII

~~That New Zelda game on the Gamecube(Realda)

~~The PSP is released in the Western Hemisphere

~~LoZ:Minish Cap is finally released in North America with supposed more special features than the Japanese and U.K. release

~~The second GBA Klonoa game finally comes out in North America

~~Wario Ware Twisted comes out in North America

~~I think Suikoden IV is supposed to come out in NA in 2005

~~Kingdom Hearts 2

~~KataDama 2, KataDama 2, KataDama 2

~~And I know this isn't a game and it applies to Harry Potter fans, but Half-Blood Prince is coming out on July 16

Even non-Sonic X fans will want to keep their eyes on the production of this new season. It'll probably give us an idea of what may be in store for the next big game. After all, considering how long it takes to complete a single episode, they must have been recieving some advance info from Sonic Team regarding upcoming game plot points and characters in order to adapt them into the show in time.

I am hoping "Cosmo" is not one of those.

Wait, don't we need something like proof before we start panicking? There isn't anything on those sketches to suggest that they're production art for the second series. Cosmo could be a dumped character from the first one for all we know.

I thought the Producer of the movie came forward and said that whoever wrote that article was lying through his teeth?

Between Final Fantasy 12, the Tolkienish take on Zelda, and KH 2 - I'll be in action RPG heaven.

I don't really know mostly anything about FFXII battle system either as I'm trying to avoid any info about the game as much as possible so I can be suprised. All I heard prior to what Zeta said is that it had some kind of real time battle system. However, I do know that Konami is supposed to release Ys VI in Feb.(it was originally to be released in Q4 2004 then it was pushed back) as it was stated in the Gamespot article that I posted some posts ago.

Y'sVI is also headed as a port on the PSP, but I'm not sure if they would be willing to release it in the U.S.
