What's in a name?

Post by CE »

I just got Internet access in my new home, and my witty location description is not true. I previously lived accross the street from the main Microsoft campus, so it was easy to come up with a half-assed joke about where I lived.

But now I live in expensive-land (a.k.a. Foster City, Califonia) with nothing nearby of note. Maybe one of you could come up with some bad joke about Foster City for me? Yes, I am that lazy.

"Australian for Beer?"

"With foster parents?"

"fostering ill will?"

"My city's foster than yours?"

"The Fostest?"

"Sherwood Fostest?"

"The Fost and the Fosterous?"

I can't belive I am about to hit the post button.

I was almost in tears at laughing at the responses in this thread (especially "Sherwood Fostest"). That can't say anything good about me.

God, I should be sleeping.

You could just say "Foster City, CA" and be done with it.

She has an amazingly precise location composed of only five letters. I say that's an inspiration to us all.

Mine sucks, but I can't be arsed changing it. I've also been meaning to turn this Chao's planet into a christmas pudding, but I can't be arsed to do that either.

They all sucked. Mildly amusing though.
