McDonald's is at it again

For the most part, I'm speechless, except that this will probably be something I end up scouring eBay for.

For once, I think I'm glad my sister begged me to take her to McDonald's...

Ah! So they are finally bringing out the high quality Sonic LCD games to North American Happy Meals after the Incredibles toy run.

Too bad McDonald's food sort of sucks.

Wait, what? There's a new Sega promotion at McDonald's?

Jeeze. What is this, their third one on the past five years alone?

Yeah, I heard about this awhile back, only I was under the impression they were going to be general SEGA toys, like Ulala and such.

For all those 8-12 year olds who own Space Channel 5.

Hmmm, having mixed opinions on this. Excited, but at the same time, generally don't care.
I mean, nowadays, the only reason I seem to go to Mickey D's is when I have no choice but to buy their food or for nostaglic sake (since I've been going there since I was 5).

I don't have anything interesting to say about Mc'Donalds, but...
They made Sonic's eyes turn blue.

You mean in the picture on the cup? They use cheap printing, so Sonic's eye color is a matrix of little blue dots.

Not sure about the boxes, but by just looking at that picture, it looks like these games are similar to the Asian ones.

Create an ultimate gaming system? Sounds like I could finally give Sony a run for their money. :grin:

WHO WANTS TO WIN SONIC HEROES LOL SUCKS AHAHAHA PITS!! LOL I'M THE FIRST PERSON TO SAY THIS IN THIS TOPIC gawd funny

Anyway, yeah. These promotions never get to the UK... or if they do, I don't pay attention. I mean, I'm sure I don't remember the last one being over here, but I'm sure someone will point out that it was.

It was.

LCD games suck, I wish they'd just gone with little figurines or something I could put on my shelves.

I dont see how it was that easy to miss the fact Mc Donalds did Sonic toys in the summer. The ad with CG sonic zipping through a racecourse was on most ad breaks before the watershed. It had to be one of the longest times a UK happy meal collections out (It managed about 5-6 weeks in the end I think, could be wrong)

The toys were nice but I agree that something more pretty would have been much better. tiny plush UFO-catcher style plushies woulda been nice ;_;

Oh and hi, I'm new...::hides::

"Sort of"?! As in, you can tolerate that stuff?

McDonald's food is barely a step above eating someone else's excrement.

I'd just pay full price for the toy and tell them to keep the food.

I work there, and am never tempted to eat the food. And I only eat the food there when I have to because I get a 70% discount for working there.

Honestly I don't remember it being that bad four years ago. Did it get worse over time or did I develop good taste?
