"ONE PIECE MOTHERF***ER ONE PIECE!"
It's funny because it's true. :-p

You can't really appreciate that unless you've witnessed the "Fox Box" for yourself.
Heh, "not W.I.T.C.H.".

I don't know enough about One Piece to find it funny but JIGGLING BOOBIES WOO.
The dodgy English accent was cool, though. "'ere's me bloomin' 'at!" Magick.

It was great. I never saw OP, but I'm familar with the horrible bastardization that 4Kids reeks on all it's anime.
Except Pokemon, fir some reason. Save for James' inflatable boobies, a trigger-happy warden, and the racially offensive Jynx - it's escaped relatively unscathed. Hell, they gayed James UP for the American version.

I love you for showing that to me.

They changed quite a bit of the music and added a lot of overlays. I think that skipping entire episodes is quite a big deal too, whatever the reasons.

One episode gave kids seizures, the other had Jynx which is a no-no, another had gunplay being depicted as harmless, and the last had a man wearing inflatable boobs. I can't think of anymore episodes the cut out. And out of all of those - only the one with the gunplay actually had events that affected the main plot.

Aha, found it!
All the eps cut out up to episode 57.
-From a Pokémon episode guide that came with an issue of Wizard Magazine I bought years ago. Heh, Episode 52 just happened to be cut out.

I know, and I think it's all whiny bitchy crap. Even the seizure episode, I can't see how it could be worse than any other epilepticy stuff. Just give a warning before hand or make short cuts on the flashy colour bits. Actually, I think that one was out of 4Kids hands, but it's still whiny crap.

It's out of the hands of everyone. The company is literally legally barred from showing the Porygon episode ever again - in any way, shape or form.
But you're right - the other episodes have been banned for mostly stupid reasons.

Mildly amusing, but then I don't watch TV anymore. If I ever start again, it would probably be movie channels or Seinfeld reruns.

I can't wait for that Seinfeld boxset. Just in time for Christmas.
I just wish that they would give you the option of turning off the laugh track. I hate that.

All the people on laugh tracks are dead. Kind of creepy when you think about it.

I don't know about you guys, but I enjoy laugh cues, so that I laugh at the proper times and don't look stupid in front of other people.

Well, you have to remember that the show is timed to accomodate the laugh tracks, so the pacing would be completely destroyed if they were taken away.

Was that supposed to be some sort of clever poke at how you don't think Seinfeld is funny?
Seinfeld owns you. I got to see him live a couple weeks ago. He's awesome.

I saw him live a few years ago, when he was testing his new act after coming out of that brief retirement.
I concur. He is very, very funny.
Did he do a question and answer thing as an encore when you saw him, Nate? He did when I saw, and I shouted to him "Hey Jerry! What's the best way to get in the biz?"
His answer? "Get the hell out of Toledo."

No, I think Seinfeld's great. I'm just saying that sitcoms that run with a laugh track are written and paced to accomodate them and taking them away would make the show noticably awkward.

Yeah, he did. The last "question" he took was some guy who screamed "NEWMAN!!!", so he did a step-by-step walkthrough of how he prepares for Newman's entrances in the show. It was great.
